If you feet hurt, it seems that everything hurts. Foot problems also seem to increase with age. At Home Care of Ecumen Parmly LifePointes recognizes the importance of foot care, especially as we age. Some changes in the feet are normal with aging; other changes may be an indicator that you may want to consider a foot examination:
Foot pain; ankle, calf or shin pain
Pain, redness or swelling below or in the back of the heel
Irritations on the top or sides of your toes
Red, cracked skin or white irritation between the toes
Painful corns, calluses or bunions
Clinics are held at Point Pleasant Heights on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. Each visit is $28 and includes a general assessment, clipping and filing of nails and lotion applied to feet and lower legs. For more information call 651-257-7337.
